Statistics Department
The Statistics Department of St. Kitts and Nevis plays a crucial role in shaping the nation’s development by providing reliable statistical information. Operating under the authority of the Statistical Act #12 of 2002, the department is empowered to collect, analyse and disseminate data across a broad range of sectors. This vital information supports government policies, business decisions and enhances the well-being of the federation’s people.
Our Mission
Our mission is to enlighten, empower and enrich lives through statistics. We achieve this by ensuring the collection of accurate and relevant data, enabling the government and other stakeholders to make informed, evidence-based decisions that contribute to the sustainable development of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Who we are
We are responsible for a variety of key tasks, including conducting national censuses, publishing statistical reports and working in close collaboration with other government departments and local authorities.
